St. John to Hopewell Rocks

The sun is out, and we're rolling to Sackville via Hopewell Rocks, which are like the hoodoos in Alberta but go underwater because the tide is so extreme there. First, a family portrait in 4 red Adirondacks (reminiscent of home) at a lookout. Love the RV in the background. Canadiana.

The scenery everywhere is so beautiful.

Hiking to the rocks.

Local chickens.

Low tide.

Impressive recycling and garbage collection on the path.

Down on the beach, aka the sea floor.  When the tide comes in, the water goes up to the plant line on the rocks. These are known as the "flower pot rocks".

Eastern seaweed.

The goopiness is very appealing.

What comes down must go up. These are the access stairs.  Ugh.
