And then we got to The Creepy Inn (see Caroline's post).
So incredible on the outside, but inside it was as though the Dolls and Doilies Guild was having an exposition. Creepy is right. The property was beautiful, at least. We spent as much time outside as we could, until the mosquitos came at us.
Down a few blocks into town, we had yet another delicious and fresh meal at a wonderful local eatery called Coy Wolf Bistro. Outstanding.
Fresh everything grown out back. Tina, our lovely server, gave us a tour of the premises after dinner. She's from Edmonton, is a student at Mount Allison, and is studying international politics. The only other university in Canada that offers that program is UNBC. Neat, huh?
Those are >100 year old oyster shells scattered on the ground, left by previous owners of this heritage building.
Favourite part inside: the school map of Canada from the 1950s with the wretched advertising for Neilson's chocolate. I guess we've come farther with disallowing advertising in schools than I thought.
Who is that lovely looking girl eating salad? And who in Canada doesn't like chocolate!
