What day is it?

We're full of good intentions. We were going to get up early and get going today, but only 1/4 of us was able to get up before 9:30. It's now 10:00 am and another 1/4 is still asleep. Guess who. 

Edinburgh is awesome. Tons to do:

eat breakfast outside;

take pictures from the excellent hop on/hop off bus tour;

take freaky pics of ourselves at Camera Obscura, an excellent museum full of hands-on optical illusions;

and groove to some drummers by the art gallery. Plus, Scott and Frances climbed the Scott monument, the urban equivalent of the Grouse Grind (287 steps), while Caroline and I rode the ferris wheel that's set up on Princes Street for the upcoming Edinburgh festival.

We capped off our first full day with delicious Indian food at a restaurant up the road from our flat. We ate about twice as much as we needed. I don't have to tell you about the ensuing gas.
