Good Time Dinner

As you may have guessed, we ate at a Jamie Oliver restaurant last night. Alas, he was not there. It was good enough to eat off his menu.
We started with an "antipasti plank for two", which is a board covered in delicious meats, olives, pate, etc., placed on two cans of tomatoes so it's all raised above the table. Super tasty.
Then our entrees. Here's mine:
I had squid and mussel spaghetti Nero and a side caprese salad. The noodles are black from squid ink. PARTY IN MY MOUTH.
Caroline had truffle risotto, Frances had duck leg salad, Sarah had prawn pasta, and Scott had lamb chops.  It was all fresh and delicious. Interestingly, Caroline said she wondered if her expectations were too high. She said her risotto was cooked perfectly, but she found the truffles overpowering. (I ate them for her.) Nevertheless, it is great to say we were that much closer to one of our cooking heroes.

Bar/prep area in the middle of the restaurant.
