Photo top up

Photos from Fifteen last night. Check out their website for the restaurant's story. We knew about it because we watched the documentary called Jamie's Kitchen. It's about how Jamie Oliver arranged to get underprivileged youth into a cooking apprentice program.  Now some of them work at Fifteen or other restaurants.
Homemade cream soda.
Apple, mint, and ginger cooler.
Partial view of Fifteen's upper floor.
At our table downstairs.
I didn't get any snaps of the kitchen, but there were masses of staff--chefs, sous chefs, etc.  seemed like a well-oiled machine. Our waiter was Eddie from Romania.
Oysters with elderflower.
Short rib with a perfectly piped whipped mash topped with cheddar.
Scott's lamb course.
No, it's not jello; that's spinach purée on my hake.
World's thickest chocolate mousse on a very cool plate.
We practically spent a paycheck eating here, but I'm happy to support the man who inspired my chef.
