Halifax to Annapolis Royal for real this time

Our next route went Halifax, Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Annapolis Royal. ALL EXQUISITE!!!

Peggy's Cove is just a natural marvel. The rocks make it a great playground. Alas, it was freezing and started to rain, thus shortening our trip (by choice).

Background voices say, "Mum, stop doing selfies!"  Like I'm going to stop now.

By the time we got to Mahone Bay, it was pouring. Conditions for photos were unfortunately very dodgy, regretful because it is so pretty there. I did get this one:
Recall my mum used to drive West Van's bookmobile.

Still cold, rainy, and windy in Lunenburg, so we didn't stay long there either.

The scenery is so beautiful. Tree-lined streets, country roads, and colorful houses abound. There's so much history, too. Next time, we'll spend ages in this region.

We eventually made it to our B&B, the Queen Anne Inn, in Annapolis Royal. I love me a heritage house!
This photo of the inn is hanging in the house. Can you read the caption?!
Drawing room.
Or is this the drawing room?  Or the salon. Or library.
We stayed out back in the carriage house.
And this was our view:

So luscious!
And the town is heavenly. A history buff's delight.

18th century buildings!
And room to wrestle.
AND A FRIENDLY CAT.

What's not to love about this beautiful and historic town?
